Auction Customer Service Representative: Attend to visitors and handle inquiries on the phone and face to face. Supply information regarding Jeff Martin Auctioneers, Inc. to the general public, clients and customers. Work with computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems. Travel as required to other locations.
Title clerk responsibilities include the collection of pre-auction titles and maintaining/ distributing titles to customers.
Job tasks and Responsibilities for auction customer service representative duties:
- Prepare auction invoices for customers in a high volume busy environment.
- Assist buyers with online bidding registration and deposits.
- Maintaining and controlling online bidder registrations
- Ensure customers receive accurate invoices within 24 hrs. of auction close
- Answer all customer and auction sale site inquiries.
- Process payments of all types including electronic funds transfers and wire payments from buyers
- Reconcile invoices and send out as scheduled
- Produce follow-up reports such as post-sale checklists and delayed sale payment lists to sale sites and online providers
- Liaison with accounts receivable department to continually monitor post-sale changes and corrections such as price adjustments, deductions, holdbacks, and bill for deficiencies.

Qualifications, experience and Education Requirements:
· Plus - Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or relevant field
· 2-3 years of experience working in an office environment
· Preferred - at least 1 year of title experience with good knowledge of basic title rules/law
· OR Required to have the ability and desire to learn title work
· Good knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
· Good knowledge of computers and relevant software application
· Good knowledge of customer service principles and practices
· Ability to work a phone system with several lines
· Strong Verbal and Written communication skills to produce reports, assign tasks, accept instructions and handle general office tasks
· Organization skills and the ability to multitask to compete a wide variety of tasks
· Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all employees
· Professional personal presentation
· Must have good attention to details skills to ensure that tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly
