Residential Glazier - Commercial Glazier - Shower Installer - Looking for a lead in any of these divisions!
Responsibilities: - Measure, cut, and install glass for windows, doors, and other structures - Remove broken or damaged glass and replace it with new glass - Install and secure glass in frames using clips, moldings, or other types of fasteners - Fabricate and install metal frames for glass installation - Read and interpret blueprints to determine the specifications for glass installation - Seal joints and edges of glass with caulk to prevent leaks or drafts - Repair or replace damaged glass in vehicles, such as windshields or side windows Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a glazier or in a related field - Proficient in carpentry skills, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials - Knowledge of metal stud framing techniques for glass installation - Familiarity with various types of glass and their applications - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings - Experience with caulking and sealing techniques for weatherproofing - Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with glass installation - Experience in remodeling projects, including cabinet installation and construction estimating Note: Please do not include any contact information in the job description.
