Riverside Behavioral Health Center, a Campus of Riverside Regional Medical Center located in Hampton, Virginia is currently seeking a full-time & part-time Admissions Coordinators to join their dynamic team of compassionate professionals.

Job Summary: Strongly desire candidate to have LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC. This position must demonstrate by education and/or training a background in the assessment of children adolescents and adults seeking psychiatric and/or chemical dependency treatment. The Admission Coordinator conducts assessments on children adolescents and adults at RBHC and coordinates with Riverside Regional Medical Center regarding referrals for assessment and/or admission at RBHC. This position conducts pre-certification with third party payors is able to demonstrate empathy while assessing the client/family needs in a timely manner and compliance with legal issues and patient rights. This position must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served initiating age appropriate treatment and aftercare plans utilizing knowledge of community resources. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to identify each patients requirements relative to age-specific needs. The Admissions Coordinator works under the supervision of the Manager of Admissions & Care Management.

An established mental health care provider in Hampton Roads since 1983, Riverside Behavioral Health Center provides psychiatric and chemical dependency services to children, adolescents and adults on an outpatient and inpatient basis. We offer a variety of services such as Inpatient Adult Services, Inpatient Child and Adolescent Services, Adolescent Residential Services and Outpatient Services, to individuals who experience emotional, psychological and behavioral problems. Individual, family and group therapy, recreation therapy, art therapy, life skills groups, and medication management are key components of the programs we provide.

Certification: Strongly desire candidates to have RN, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC. Current BLS is required within 10 days of hire.

Education: Masters degree (MSW, MS, MA, Med) in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field or Licensed Registered Nurse.

Experience: One year full time post graduate clinical experience with children, adolescents and adults required.
