We are Germany’s leading bank with strong positions in Europe and significant presence in the Americas and Asia Pacific. We’re driving growth through our strong client franchise, investing heavily in digital technologies, prioritising long-term success over short-term gains, and serving society with ambition and integrity. That means a career packed with opportunities to grow and the chance to shape the future of our clients.

About your internship
Join us and you will be an integral part of our team. Over 9-10 intensive weeks you will experience what it’s like to work for our international bank and gain a wide range of practical experience. You will also benefit from training courses, seminars and a variety of networking events. Successful interns will be invited to join the Deutsche Bank Associate Programme.

About Corporate Finance
As part of the Corporate & Investment Bank, our Corporate Finance business provides the full range of products and services of a leading global investment bank. Our clients include large-cap and mid-cap corporates, financial institutions, governments, government agencies and financial sponsors.
Our relationships are enhanced by industry sector, country and regional expertise, closely aligned to high-quality client solutions: both buyside and sellside Mergers & Acquisitions and restructuring advisory - and capital raising services. We are able to advise on innovative cross-border and regional transactions in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific.

The role
Our Associate interns are given the opportunity to learn about our business from different viewpoints. From valuing companies and modelling mergers to preparing pitches, you’ll tackle tasks that are as varied as they are vital. By the end of the internship, you’ll have developed crucial market and product knowledge and built on your research, analytical and communication skills. More than that, you’ll have made your mark on a division rich in global development and leadership opportunities.
The internship is an ideal way of finding out whether a career in Corporate Finance meets your needs and aspirations.

Your qualifications
Strong analytical, numerical and technical skills are a must, as is the creative approach to solve problems in fresh, new ways. Beyond that, we’ll be looking for strong communication and influencing skills plus the high levels of integrity to put clients’ needs first. And, along with a record of outstanding academic achievement, you’ll have the determination to build a long-term career in investment banking.
We are looking for bright minds with excellent academic records and some practical work experience to create a positive impact for our customers.

Then we look forward to meeting you!
