Job Overview:
We are seeking a Front Desk Agent to join our team in providing exceptional hospitality services at our hotel. The ideal candidate should have a passion for guest relations, customer service, and hotel management.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in/check-out process
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Assist with reservations, room assignments, and billing processes
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
- Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area
-Track inventory and report inventory status to management
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction
-Upsell items in the office convenience store
-Occasionally assist with residual laundry when front desk is slow
- Socialize with guests during the nightly bonfire.
- Program the coffee maker for morning guests.
- Record guest feedback about rooms and amenities and relay it to the manager.
- Clean the front desk office at the end of shift.
- Stock front desk areas with necessary supplies.
- Enter new convenience store merchandise into the POS
Skills:
- Experience in hotel or hospitality management
- Strong customer service and guest relations skills
- Proficiency in phone etiquette and handling reservations
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
- Familiarity with night audit procedures is advantageous
