Job Overview: Dexter Edward is seeking a talented and experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team. The Technical Sales Specialist will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts by providing technical expertise and support to our sales team and potential clients. This position requires a deep understanding of our products and services, as well as the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions tailored to their needs.
- Conduct technical product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the features and benefits of Fognigma’s solutions.
- Collaborate with the system administration team to understand the latest features and enhancements, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of our offerings.
- Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, RFPs, and other documentation required for the sales process.
- Serve as a technical resource for the sales team, addressing technical questions and concerns from clients.
- Participate in sales meetings and strategy sessions, providing insights and recommendations based on technical expertise.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies to provide relevant information to clients and the sales team.
- Support post-sales activities, including implementation and troubleshooting, to ensure customer satisfaction and successful deployment of our solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7 year Experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar technical sales role.
- Strong understanding of networking, cybersecurity, and communication technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience with military/government organizations & contracts is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and support sales efforts.
