How can you grow with Nufarm?
As a Material Handler on 1st shift (7:30am - 4:00pm) in Alsip, IL, you will be responsible for performing warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
What will you be doing?
The duties and responsibilities of the Material Handler include, but are not limited to:
- Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
- Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the operation
- Responsible for the accurate material handling, auditing, induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
- Responsible to utilize various inventory tools such as location control, scanning, cycle counting assistance and other tools as required.
- Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
- Utilizing ERP systems to provide accurate and live inventory measures.
- Drive an environment of cleanliness and organization.
- Performs other duties related to special projects as assigned.
- Uphold and maintain housekeeping and 5S initiatives.
- Assist in the training of casual and/or new employees.
- Assist team members with other tasks and duties as required.
What do you bring?
High School or equivalent education. Forklift certification.

- Warehouse experience: 2 years (Required)
