The Global Events Team is looking for an Event Producer to support EA’s Lifestyle portfolio, including franchises like The Sims and skate. You will drive and execute the planning and production of high value in-person and digital events to support our global brand and campaign goals. Our events are premium and safe, immersive and engaging and include content creator, press, consumer and commercial events as well as large industry events and trade shows. You will report into the Production Team Lead for EA's Shooter, Action and Lifestyle portfolios. You will also have opportunities to support other EA franchise events, Internal and Competitive Gaming Events when needed and support creating the franchise global event strategy. We are looking for advanced communication skills, project management skills and a strong ability to prioritise lots of moving parts.
Create and align event plans in partnership with the franchise integrated marketing team, including Brand, Strategy, Integrated Communications, IT and Security teams.
Lead event production, collaborating with global and regional teams to create awesome in-person and digital event experiences that meet global campaign and brand goals, are accessible and inclusive and engage a global audience.
Manage a matrix of vendors and services including digital event platforms, video production and streaming partners, transportation and hospitality, design, AV, IT and security services. Negotiate and review contracts, acting as point of contact for event vendors and internal Legal and Finance partners.
Facilitate attendee communications and guest experience touch points including event attendee logistics (Know Before You Go) and registration.
Staff events and assist with / oversee set-up and break-down.
Ensure all events meet goals, reach metrics and follow spending guidelines.
Research new event opportunities.
Minimum 4+ years of experience in event production, marketing, program management.
Understand event platforms and technology.
Critical thinker who can analyse situations and provide creative solutions that are compliant with EA policy. Able to prioritise and juggle multiple projects at once, always anticipating the next move and needs within the team and for the audience.
Creative / clever problem solver who is comfortable making decisions both individually and in collaboration with team members across many different departments and timezones across the globe. Not afraid to ask questions or raise concerns.
Able to work independently and follow processes with limited supervision, proactively asking for guidance and feedback.
Entertainment, tech and / or gaming industry knowledge is a plus.
Schedule flexibility including off-hours, weekends, and willingness and ability to travel.
You will be required to travel to support events onsite domestic and international.
Must meet all travel eligibility requirements for international travel including holding a valid passport, ability to apply for any necessary visas / permits, proof of vaccinations, and testing requirements.
US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

BASE SALARY RANGES
- California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $90,550 - $137,700
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby (following 1 year of service), medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
