The Air Force Commercial Cloud Subject Matter Expert (AFC2 SME) must be flexible, articulate, educated, competent and able to fulfill a variety of cybersecurity functions, i.e., AWS Cloud, Azure, System Administrator, Enterprise Oversight, certification and accreditation, SAP and SCI assessment and authorization (A&A) , Platform Information Technology (PIT) assessment and authorization, Information Assurance and Technical Security for AIS, Information Technology (IT) Network Administration & Support, and Information System Security Officer support.
To Do's:
THE AFC2 SME must possess the subject matter expertise, maturity, and disposition to operate autonomously across the DoD, within SDA, and with the SDA’s defense industry base. They must also:
- Assist our customers in the requirement to meet the AF IC Security roles as required in AFMAN 17-1303, any questions about personnel should be directed to the C2S customers MAJCOM CISO for clarification.
- Required to have Xacta access and experience in creating & accomplishing projects.
- Required to manage and populate the Xacta package.
- Experience providing lifecycle management to dynamic organization as required.
- Oversee and manage operations to include: business and financial operations; experience with status reporting; recommendations for improvement on process, operations, and briefing preparation
Must Have's:
- Current U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or an advanced IA certification (i.e., CISSP or CASP)
- DoD 8570 certification in IAT or IAM
- 8+ years in Cloud/AWS Experience supporting IC or DoD in the Cyber Security Domain
- Experience in the space command environment
- Xacta experience
- Excellent communications skills – both verbal and non-verbal
- Office Automation Skills – MS Office
- Self-starter requiring limited direction and supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $180,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
