The NBCUniversal Creative Group is an in-house agency-style resource in 30 Rock that partners with NBCUniversal businesses and departments to produce consumer, employee and trade promotions, campaigns and communications. We’re looking for an Art Director to join our creative team who thinks conceptually and has the work to back it up. The ideal candidate is adept at designing print, digital, social, outdoor, logos and environmental. Experience with After Effects, Keynote and a video/animation sensibility a big plus. You love to collaborate, share ideas and create great work fast. You’re a pop culture fan with 7+ years agency, in-house or successful freelance track record who’s comfortable in a corporate environment.
Uphold graphic aesthetic, maintain quality and quantity of work produced, and contribute creatively to the department
Manage agenda to meet project schedule dates and deadlines
Execute multiple projects at once
Act as creative lead on some projects, from conception to delivery, directing the work of peers while still participating as a hands-on creative
Follow creative direction and actively participate on any given project or team to which assigned
Participate in brainstorming ideas
Execute corporate design projects for all corporate divisions
Work with trends in advertising design, digital and marketing
Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field
Minimum of 10+ year of experience
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suites Applications including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and/or After Effects
Able to conceptualize storyboards for web needs

Strong time/project management skills
Proven ability to manage in a deadline-oriented environment and to mutli-task
Knowledge of and experience in branding and logo creation
Able to think and react quickly while maintaining an overall strategic plan
Ability to work in a variety of media formats such as print, digital, web and understanding of the processes and techniques involved.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to take initiative and think innovatively to improve efficiencies and problem solve
Ability to prioritize in order to meet deadlines and budgets
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team
