What will you be doing?
You will be delivering and securing loads of steel coils, flat steel, and occasionally lumber.
This is a physically demanding position, you are not just driving a truck!
- Climbing in/out of cab, on/off of truck bed
- Securing Loads- bending, squatting, lifting wood, throwing chains
- Hook/unhook Trailer
- Push/Pull tarps on/off covered wagon
- Perform safety check on truck/trailer
- Ensure truck is clean and presentable
- Represent the company in a professional manner
- Complete required logs and scan in tickets
- Follow all DOT rules and regulations

Compensation:
- CPM based on verifiable Class A Experience
- Load Pay
- Automatic 1/2 cent raise every six months
- Optional $69/day in per diem
- Detention Pay (after 1st hour)
- Breakdown Pay (for the ENTIRE breakdown period)
- Backhaul Pay
- Stop Pay for multiple stop loads
- Performance Pay
Job Requirements:
CDL-A Truck Driver Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL & Med Card (with at least 3 months before expiration)
- Minimum 1 year Class A commercial driving experience
- A good attitude
- Clean DOT Clearinghouse
- No felony convictions in the past 5 years
- Good MVR and Stable Work History
- No Drug/Alcohol violations in the past 5 years
