Quisk’s dynamic, multi-cultural Engineering team is looking for a creative and talented Senior Software Engineer with a deep understanding of Java and Spring to help build our next generation payment platform. The candidate will work on cutting edge technologies; collaborate with product owners; participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle and adhere to Agile SCRUM/KANBAN methodologies. Additionally, the candidate will, occasionally, be tasked with implementing integration components between our platform and our customers’ and partners’ backend systems when needed.

The desired candidate should have:

  • 5+ years of in-depth experience in enterprise software development and design using Java.
  • Hands on experience with Spring.
  • Hands on experience in building web services using REST.
  • In depth experience in accessing RDBMS (Oracle) from Java and Spring JDBC/JMS Template. Working experience with SQL highly desired.
  • Experience with web servers like Tomcat or application servers like JBoss highly desired
  • Must create quality software by employing best practices like unit testing, code coverage analysis, code reviews, documentation, etc.
  • Experience with Maven and Git preferred and continuous integration tools like Jenkins.
  • Exposure to Agile SCRUM or KANBAN highly desired.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Master's preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $120,000.00 to $140,000.00 /year
