Database Coordinator - Quick Base

Legacy PSG, Inc. is searching for highly qualified applicants to fill the position of Database Coordinator in the Lubbock, Texas area. Applicants should have a 4-year degree in Computer Science or Business Management (or applicable background), or a minimum 3 years on-the-job experience working with Quick Base database set-up, maintenance and customization may substitute for diploma. All applicants must be fluent with Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and impeccable file organization and data management skills are essential.

Although not required, ideal candidates may possess a working knowledge and general understanding of property title and real estate terminology and processes, may have experience with SmartSheets, county tax data and CAD map information, as well as maps created with ArcGIS and/or Google Earth .kml or .kmz files.

Optimal candidates are Quick Base-certified and accustomed to working in a fast-paced office environment on multiple challenging projects, are highly efficient daily database managers and effective at updating and customizing client databases in the Energy/Oil & Gas industry.

Job responsibilities and duties:

Monitors day-to-day usage of multiple client Quick Base database systems. Troubleshoots databases and performs bug fixes. Develops Quick Base system training for Legacy staff and its clients. Regularly checks databases for data quality and integrity. Provides technical assistance and support for Quick Base database systems. Addresses database-related queries from staff and clients and develops technical solutions for problems related to our Quick Base systems. Maintains user access and permission levels for all apps and segments and assists in app/dashboard design and development based on user needs. Evaluates databases and recommends improvements. Develops strategies for consolidations for greater efficacy. Performs administrative duties such as creating and preparing reports, meeting minutes and other project files when requested. Willing to attend educational programs/workshops for professional growth in the field and industry.

Qualifications/Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 3+ years experience in Quick Base database supervision. (Required)
  • Must be Quick Base Certified or no less than 50% towards completion. (Required)
  • Minimum Quick Base experience: 3 years (Required)
  • Use Quick Base API & the native Quick Base interface: 2 years (Required)
  • Build Quick Base applications, pages, and dashboards: 2 years (Required)
  • Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills combined with the ability to provide quick resolutions to complex Quick Base database problems.
  • Exceptional verbal and written organizational, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Must be customer service oriented and believe in teamwork, collaboration, adaptability and flexibility.
