Overview:
Nakupuna Federal is looking for a Senior Consultant to be part of a team that provides analytic support to a Government civilian agency comprehensive contract review efforts. The team will analyze the current agency-wide contract and spend portfolio and will identify concrete opportunities to increase cost efficiency and streamline the spend approach. Members of the team will provide contract spend, should-cost analysis, and other comparative analyses to advise the government client of acquisition strategies that provide best value.
Responsibilities:

Lead contract spend analysis using multiple data sources (including FPDS).

Develop data visualizations for senior leaders.

Lead benchmark assessments and identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Develop recommendations for savings and efficiencies based on data analysis. Where appropriate, develop courses of action with impact assessments.

Advise the client on strategies for cost optimization, leveraging acquisition expertise.

Develop a roadmap and implementation plan for delivering on savings initiatives.

Prepare and deliver briefing materials to explain analytical findings, frequently to senior-level government personnel.

Develop reporting formats for tracking project progress (e.g., actual vs. planned completions, rework statistics, productivity rates, etc.) and ensure timely submission of completed reports at client specified frequency.

Design and execute workshops to define and refine business and testing requirements, discuss potential solutions, identify risks, etc.

Manage and coach a team of analysts and consultants.

Ensure all contract deliverables are delivered to the customer on time with Nakupuna standards of excellence.

Keep Nakupuna leadership abreast of project execution, and any issues (e.g., production, equipment/facilities, manpower, project delays, etc.) of potential impact to achievement of client requirements/deliverables or requirements exceeding defined scope of work.

Demonstrate problem solving skills and good judgment when facing impediments.
Qualifications:
Qualification/Skills: Nakupuna is looking for a proactive leader who can perform research and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data to drive impactful decisions. Candidate must be comfortable and adept at taking ambiguous or unstructured information and determining how to package it into meaningful analysis for the client. Candidate must be highly motivated, adaptable, and have exceptional written and oral communication skills. The candidate must have strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel, as well as experience or willingness to learn Business Intelligence tools, such as Power BI.
Education and Experience: This position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. The following are desirable levels of experience:

8-10 years of experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

3 or more years of experience leading teams.

Proven experience delivering briefings to senior-level leaders.

Experience in acquisition, procurement, category management and/or supply chain field is required.

Master’s degree is preferred.

The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $113,000.00 to $161,000.00 (annualized USD). The good faith salary range displayed represents the position at time of posting and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
