Position Summary
The Stanley Black & Decker Global Tools & Storage (GTS) internship is a project-oriented work assignment designed to offer hands-on business experience within the GTS Licensing Team. Assignments are designed to expose the intern to SBD strategic initiatives and the roles different functions play in achieving the business’ objectives.

In this internship, you will have exposure to several areas at Stanley Black & Decker and will work on a wide variety of tasks and projects with a cross functional team of professionals.

This position will provide you with:

Flexible schedule featuring a maximum of 40 hours/week.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collaborate with Digital team to create social media calendar for licensing partners in BH 2019
Evaluate Partners social media presence
Assist Licensing managers with portal approvals
Assist Brand team with Website evaluation, and generate feedback to partners
Work with Show/Events team to create/update show calendar for partner participation
Participate in Monthly/Quarterly partner meetings.
Organize project alignment meetings w/ Design, Engineering and Licensing Mgrs.

Requirements:
Working toward a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, brand focus
Must be proficient in MS Office applications Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Basic understanding/ability to navigate web-based programs and social media platforms
Ability to think outside the box and contribute creative ideas/solutions to the team.
Results-oriented, fast-earner that takes the initiative with a “can-do” attitude.
Self-motivated to strive for continuous improvement through the use of analytical problem-solving skills.
Executes with the highest degree of integrity and accountability.
Must be able to communicate well (both written and verbal) across all levels of the organization.
Strong project management/organizational Skills.
