The Director, Compensation and HRIS is accountable for managing the strategic development and ongoing administration of the compensation programs for the Americas ensuring cost-effectiveness, market-competitiveness, internal equity, legal compliance and alignment with the company’s overall strategic objectives. This position provides direction in the development and implementation of compensation policies, practices and procedures. Additionally, the Director will manage the HR Analyst in their efforts to maximize UltiPro and other HR related systems to build an HRIS infrastructure capable of supporting the continued growth of the business and ensuring internal processes are efficient and effective. This position will be located at our North Fort Worth Headquarters.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Manages the strategic development and ongoing administration of compensation programs ensuring cost-effectiveness, market-competitiveness, internal equity, legal compliance and alignment with the company’s overall strategic objectives.
Leads the development and implementation of compensation policies, practices and procedures.
Builds and maintains a compensation structure and conducts job evaluations to recommend internal job placement in the appropriate level, title and FLSA classification. Drives the standardization of job levels, and career ladders across the organization.
Conducts ongoing compensation benchmarking and analysis to maintain competitive compensation programs and practices.
Manages the annual salary review process for the Americas.
Oversees the development and implementation of recognition programs to enhance the motivation and productivity of employees.
Provides assistance to senior management in incentive/commission plan development and interfaces with the Incentive Compensation Manager to collect and analyze data.
Serves as internal consultant to Managers/Leaders and HR Business Partners regarding compensation programs and practices.
Partners with Director of Benefits in the formulation of an effective Total Rewards strategy.
Supports review of compensation related issues for Acquisitions.
Leads the efforts to maximize UltiPro and other HR related systems to build an HRIS infrastructure capable of supporting the continued growth of the business and ensuring internal processes are efficient and effective.
Provides leadership and direction to the HR Analyst who is accountable for HRIS systems administration, reporting and general HR analytics for the Americas.
Completes special projects as requested by the Vice President, Human Resources in a timely and quality manner.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Ten to fifteen years of progressive compensation experience including demonstrated experience in compensation program design and administration including base pay, variable pay and sales compensation programs. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required. Five plus years’ experience in a leadership level role. Experience overseeing HRIS function preferred, but not required.

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS

Able to think strategically while be operationally strong and willing to perform “hands on” role in the development and implementation of compensation programs.
Exhibits strong analytical and problem solving ability including the ability develop innovative solutions to compensation program development.
Ability to manage staff including organizing and prioritizing work assignments.
Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong presentation skills.
Exhibits strong interpersonal/teamwork skills in order to build effective relationships with internal and external contacts.
Exhibits strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Strong proficiency in all Microsoft applications.
Well developed understanding of HR systems functionality.
CCP designation preferred.
