We are looking for an experienced Assistant Project Manager interested in collaborating with innovative and creative teams while developing intelligent, state of the art spaces. Corporate Real Estate is charged with strategic, proactive support for The Walt Disney Company’s Global Real Estate requirements. This is achieved through strong collaboration with key stakeholders providing well informed options enabling knowledgeable decisions. Design and Delivery executes ground-up, tenant improvement, and technology capital construction projects within the Corporate Real Estate portfolio from project inception through design, permitting, construction, and turnover.

Masters in Construction Management, Masters in Real Estate Development, Masters in Business Administration, or Masters in Architecture with requisite experience in development work is desired but not required. College degree or equivalent required in a development core discipline such as Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Power point SAP (a plus) AutoCAD (a plus) 3 to 5 years of project coordination experience for corporate tenant improvements. General contractor or other project management experience preferred. Proven experience with Tenant Improvement, Ground up and Technology projects in a fast paced environment.

Proven success interacting with vendors, including architects, contractors, and FF&E manufacturers. Experience with both ground-up and tenant improvement work. Ability to support common goals and embrace team achievement over individual needs. Proven experience in developing internal partnerships.

Updates project reporting tools to enhance cost tracking. Develop procedures and organization to enhance role of Assistant Project Manager. Must be able to demonstrate a client service orientation. Ability to develop positive relationships with client business units.

Proficient at reading and interpreting construction documents and specifications. Strong time management and organization skills. Posses the ability to mulit task and prioritize work load on a daily basis. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Make an impact by… Play an integral role on the Project Management Team of the Design and Delivery department supporting Tenant Improvement, Ground Up and Technology projects within the Corporate Real Estate portfolio. This position requires independent strategic thinking, teamwork, multi-tasking, timely execution, and includes management growth potential. Lead project close-out process. Responsible for ensuring that project close-out packages are complete.

Collaborate with project controls and Project Managers on monthly cost reports, cash flows, and any other needed reporting. Manage in tracking and distribution of Directives, tracking of potential change orders, quality control of change order requests, and compiling change order requests into monthly change orders. 535894
