Seeking 3rd shift Molding Operators for our Manchester, NH facility.

Hours:

  • 3rd shift >11:00pm- 7:00am

Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies is hiring for direct hire Molding Operators to work in our Manchester, NH facility. Located close to Manchester Airport we are an easy commute from Southern NH or Northern MA locations.

Entry Level or Experienced Operators welcome to apply.

Reports To: Business Cell Leader

Job Summary: Responsible for molding, trimming, inspection, and packaging products.

Primary Functions : Operates various injection molding presses. May place metal or plastic inserts into cavities of mold. Removes molded products from press or conveyor. Trims excess material (aka flash) from each part, using either a manual or automated trimming equipment. Performs secondary operations as required. Visually inspects finished products. Maintains records of rejects and statistical process control sheets. May perform routine measurements on products to ensure conformity to product standard. Places finished product into shipping boxes. May move raw materials/dunnage into cell and finished goods plus scrap/waste out of cell. Relieves other operators for breaks, as required. Performs daily housekeeping assignments to maintain clean and orderly work area. Flexibility of working overtime hours is necessary. Communicates machinery status, production concerns and related information to other employees at shift change. Performs necessary functions to adhere to ISO/TS16949 and ISO 14001 standards. Communicate issues from the other molding operators to the appropriate Maintenance Technician, Engineer, and/or Business Cell Leader

Secondary Functions:

1.Assists with the training of new operators, as requested.

2.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Work and Educational Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Previous manufacturing experience preferred

Equipment/Machinery/Tools Used: Injection molding press, utility knives, small hand tools, (i.e. picks).

May use automated trimming machines.

Personal Protective Equipment Required: Safety glasses, steel-toe safety shoes, gloves, arm guards, and hearing protection (as required).
