Xometry is looking for motivated, success driven individuals to fill our Assistant Manager, Community and Marketplace Engagement opening in our Lexington, KY office. Xometry has experienced massive growth over the past 3 years. We believe we need to continue to evolve our products and services to support future growth and market execution. With growth comes expansion in the form of Xometry employees, products & services, technology, process, and a new high bar for excellence.
This role will be completely obsessed with building a vibrant digital community, the LEAN manufacturing philosophy, driving engagement across our core business operations and value-added services, and serving our manufacturing users with a bias for growth!
Developing and executing our content programming and live event strategies are at the heart of this role. This person must be able to operate under tight deadlines, execute multiple priorities at once, and stay organized in the midst of large projects. They will be able to think strategically while also acting tactically.
This is a unique opportunity for a forward-thinking individual as they dive in and help build out a robust, industry-leading live event schedule and digital content program.
This role will report to the Manager of Community and Marketplace Engagement. This position can be remote or on site as a part of our Lexington, Kentucky office.
What You'll Do
Support the implementation of the overall community strategy set by the Senior Manager of Community and Marketplace Engagement
Develop and execute the plan for a robust calendar of live events with the goal of increasing engagement with our platform
Develop and execute the plan for industry-leading general machining training content programming
Increase cross-platform engagement in our manufacturing user segment
Implement strategies and initiatives to increase member engagement on the community platform
Increase usage rate of value-added services (Supplies, Shop Finances, Marketplace, Shop Advantage Program, etc.)
Be the voice of the manufacturing user internally, always putting our manufacturing users first
Scale operations by converting manufacturing users into buyers, vendors, and sellers
Bring a LEAN philosophy to our community and engagement processes
Relentlessly drive towards increasing the impact of our content and scale up to 7 day a week programming
Increase and optimize for important KPIs such as increased views, likes, shares, and comments for content and attendance and engagement for events
Own the relationship with GNO, Product, and other internal stakeholders on content production and event schedule
Identify, drive, and track relevant metrics of success, turning insights into action
Interpret Supplier insights into actions by igniting improvements in our products and services
Increase the usage rate of value-added services, namely, Xometry Supplies, Xometry Finishing Service, Marketplace, and the Community Forum
Increase the number of our community members that are vendors and sellers within the Marketplace
Increase views, likes, shares, and comments for content and attendance and engagement for events
Maintain 75% coverage rate for business days with new content or events
Increase the number of daily active manufacturing users on the Xometry Platform
Increase the number of page views of Community and Knowledge Base pages
Increase time on pages
Long amounts of time on a page could indicate that the content is being read, while short page time indicates that your members aren’t interested in that content and the title could have been misleading
Increase the number of discussions generated by community members per session
Increase the number of comments per session
Increase the number of sessions and returning sessions on Community and Knowledge Base pages
Increase the number of questions answered by the community
Decrease the cost to serve our manufacturing users
