Starting Salary: $85,000
Salary Increases: Year 2 - $90,000 | Year 3 - $95,000
Work Location: Naperville, IL
This role is eligible to participate in ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Serves as physical and procedural security subject matter expert for all U.S. stores
- Provide technical and end user support for burglar alarm systems and IP video surveillance systems.
- Oversees security-related vendors and integrators.
- Identifies project issues and recommends corrective action as appropriate.
- Recommends process improvements for area of responsibility.
- Develops contingency plans to deal with organizational emergencies.
- Tests documented disaster recovery strategies and plans.
- Assesses risk to business operations.
- Performs both internal and external security audits.
- Evaluates laws and regulations to determine impact on organizational activities.
- Trains team in organizational or compliance procedures.
- Collects corporate intelligence to prevent organizational emergencies and infrastructure failure.
- Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to leadership.
- Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Security Management, Safety Management or a related field required.
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Physical Security required.
- Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
- Certifications from American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS), Security Industry Association (SIA) desired (e.g. CPP, PSP, CSPM).
Physical Requirements:
- Work may be performed in an office, remote office or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
- Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
- Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
- Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
Travel:
- Minimal travel required as needed for job related duties such as training, project work and administrative tasks.
