Established in 2002, Investigative Solutions and Consulting Services, Inc. is a full-service investigation firm based in the Mid-west and Florida. We provide services to insurance companies, self-insured, Third Party Administrators (TPAs) and defense counsel.

We are currently seeking qualified candidates in Illinois and Indiana. This is a part-time position and the candidates must have investigative experience and/or a military/loss prevention background. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook programs, and model high integrity and outstanding character. Depending on the candidate's performance this could transition into a full-time position.

The successful candidates will be in possession of the following equipment prior to employment:

  • Laptop or reliable PC with internet access
  • Reliable vehicle suitable for surveillance with tinted windows

Candidates must have the ability and willingness to conduct surveillance on short notice, work mornings, evenings, weekends and, sometimes, holidays. Although ISCS attempts to provide local assignments, at times, travel and working long periods may be required. Pay is commensurate with experience. Travel time and mileage are reimbursed, as well as are out of pocket expenses, etc. We also require a valid driver's license and current registration and insurance credentials. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts pre-surveillance research upon case assignment
  • Performs undercover investigations in various rural, suburban, and urban environments
  • Conducts stationary and mobile surveillance in a covert manner
  • Gathers clear and concise video footage
  • Documents all activities related to the investigation
  • Prepares/communicates daily updates and detailed final reports
  • Transmits video evidence using a secure Internet connection
  • Completes professional investigations while complying with local, state, and federal laws
  • Provides deposition and courtroom testimony as required

  • Communicates effectively with superiors and clients
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $19.00 to $23.00 /hour


  • Surveillance Investigations: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Insurance Surveillance: 2 years (Required)
