The Army West Point Athletic Association, Inc. is looking for Junior Accountant to work in the Financial Management office. This is a full-time position with great growth potential, competitive pay and great benefits!

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

The Junior Accountant will assistant with all accounting tasks within the Financial Management office. This position reports to and works closely with the Senior Accountant at Army West Point Athletic Association (AWPAA).

  • Accounts Payable processing
  • Accounts Receivables processing
  • Credit Card reconciliations
  • Maintain updated files for vendors and sub-contractors
  • Assist with month end accounting closes
  • Assist with annual audits
  • Filing & other administrative duties

Qualifications and Education Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Experience working in a Non-profit setting is a plus. Candidate should have 2-3 years of accounting experience but we will consider a recent college graduates with Accounting degrees who are looking to grow and learn with AWPAA.

Preferred Skills

Experience will Microsoft Excel using pivot tables and v-lookups are preferred. Experience using Great Plains is a plus. The candidate should have strong interpersonal skills with a pro-active attitude and work well with others.
