WESTERN NEW ENGLAND UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF LAW seeks motivated applicants with exceptional interpersonal skills and attention to detail for a Recruitment and Events Coordinator. This person will provide recruitment, event planning, and administrative assistance for the Career Services Office. This position reports directly to the Director of Career Services and has responsibility for maintaining an online legal recruitment database, assisting students in the procedural aspects of job applications, coordinating event planning for engagements at the School of Law, and providing administrative support to the Career Services Office. Will interact with various constituencies including students, faculty, staff, lawyers, judges, and community organizations.
Bachelor’s degree or substantial completion preferred. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills required, as well as strong oral and written communication skills. Administrative experience plus one to three years of event coordination and planning experience and one to three years of database management experience preferred. Familiarity with information technology, social media channels, communication strategies, website maintenance, and database software desired.
