Creative Arts Studio is looking to add a new part time Office Manager / Assistant to the Director to our artistic family.

Creative Arts Studio is a Multi-Disciplinary Arts Center offering classes in Dance, Drama, Music, and Art for youth and adults throughout the Brooklyn Community.

We serve over two hundred families across two studios, so it is imperative that you are able to multi-task, stay calm in the midst of a busy setting, and can communicate effectively and graciously with people of all ages.

Job requirements:

  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and on time!
  • Value and excel in collaborative, creative problem-solving
  • Pet friendly (we have a loving and well-loved studio pup!)
  • Phenomenal with children
  • Have extensive expertise in social media outreach & marketing
  • Great writing skills
  • Be computer savvy
  • Not afraid to get their hands dirty, it’s an arts studio!
  • Be proficient with Mac operating system, Microsoft Office Suite, and various mail servers
  • Be able to multitask
  • Have excellent customer relations and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing customer accounts, supply ordering, phone and email correspondence
  • Be able to work well with others, open and transparent communication
  • Have a keen sense of organization
  • Experience with Photoshop, In Design / mail listserv

Starting Salary $16-18/hr

School year hours: 2:00-7:30pm (Mon-Fri)

Summer hours (July / Aug): 8am-4pm (Mon-Fri)

Looking to fill this position in the end of December. Training will begin in November / December.
