OVERVIEW: This position has responsibility for supervising a teller line that processes a variety of financial transactions including check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, and loan payments. Responsible for assisting tellers with more complex tasks, approves exception transactions, backs up tellers and performs teller duties as needed. Manages branch currency supplies to accommodate service levels and is responsible for cash shipments. Supervises daily reconciliation of branch. Assists in training of teller functions. This position will cross sell to walk in branch customers. Has responsibility for reactive sales, high quality servicing, and retention of commercial and individual relationships. Refers existing and prospective customers for a full range of banking services with an emphasis on client needs. Administrative duties such as maintenance of accounts and customer profiles and audits of branch as required, acting as a team member to the units' sales team, and conducting in branch sales campaigns based upon individual aptitudes and needs of the branch and market assigned. Basic computer skills
Ability to work money transactions with a high degree of accuracy

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Minimum one year Retail teller experience or high volume cash handling experience
Vault or Cash Management experience

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent
