Gravel Hill Christian Child Care is looking for an attentive, caring, and nurturing school-age teacher to join our team! This position is perfect for parents who are looking for additional income and have young children!
Applicant must be able to work 8-hour shifts during summer months, and split shifts during school hours, with the understanding that if school is closed applicant will work an 8-hour day. Pay is $14.00 with a $2.00 shift differential.
Responsibilities
A qualified candidate should be caring, nurturing, and knowledgeable in child growth and development
- Assist in the development of daily lesson plans
- Provide a fun and safe learning environment for children
- Supervising the children in your care and creating a safe and caring classroom
- Maintaining daily communication with parents to continuously build positive relationships
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 2,500 reported hours working with children OR 2 years of previous childcare experience
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Child care clearances required by the Department of Human Service
- Completed health physical
- Child abuse history clearances, PA State Criminal Background Check and FBI
