CONSUMER AND INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION (CIMD)
The Consumer and Investment Management Division includes Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM), Private Wealth Management (PWM) and our Consumer business (Marcus by Goldman Sachs). We provide asset management, wealth management and banking expertise to consumers and institutions around the world. CIMD partners with various teams across the firm to help individuals and institutions navigate changing markets and take control of their financial lives.
Consumer, externally known as Marcus by Goldman Sachs, is comprised of the firm’s digitally-led consumer businesses, which include our deposits and lending businesses, as well as our personal financial management app, Clarity Money. Consumer combines the strength and heritage of a 150-year-old financial institution with the agility and entrepreneurial spirit of a tech start-up. Through the use of machine learning and intuitive design, we provide customers with powerful tools that are grounded in value, transparency and simplicity to help them make smarter decisions about their money.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

If so, this role is for you. We are seeking a professional to join the Lending Partnerships & Product Strategy team to help us enhance and grow our business.
How you will fulfill your potential:
Define, launch and manage new lending partnership products, from market and consumer research and business case to implementation, that achieve customer, growth and P&L goals
Manage day to day P&L performance and identify opportunities for enhancement
Maintain strong partner relationships
Promote a seamless and compelling multi-channel customer experience through all touchpoints of the customer journey
Conduct customer and market research, and competitor analysis, to understand consumer needs/pain points and market opportunities
Ensure unique and consistent positioning of the product in the marketplace
Support Business Development efforts and initiatives
Partner closely with Product Management to ensure product features and experiences are built in an agile environment as defined
Skills & Experience we are seeking:
3-5+ years of experience in partnership management preferred, or digital financial services product strategy or product marketing in online payments, lending, or risk management
2+ years of experience in a partner and client facing capacity
2+ years launching or managing products in digital consumer lending space that drive business impact – including ability to work seamlessly with engineering and digital product teams, familiarity with agile development, and working knowledge of platform infrastructure
Deep customer focus and experience with consumer research and understanding and identifying customer needs
Highly quantitative, analytical and business-minded, bringing P&L management experience – e.g. profitability drivers analysis, program optimization
Ability to solve complex problems in an organized and swift way, while employing an understanding of the consumer finance regulatory and compliance environment
Extraordinary communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively with internal and external senior stakeholders
Superior interpersonal skills with a passion for leading and participating in diverse teams
Team-oriented with an ability to work independently in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
Able to travel 10-15% of time
