Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
3 years of relevant industry experience.
Experience with image processing and camera imaging.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in camera 3A (auto white balance, auto exposure, auto focus) tuning and algorithm development.
Experience in image processing, machine learning or computational photography.
Experience in mobile systems.
Understanding of camera sensors.

The Android and Pixel Camera team is in charge of the end-to-end product, from algorithm design, implementation, tuning, image quality evaluation, to the final commercialization. In this role, you'll leverage our passion for improving the image quality and photography experience for mobile cameras and innovating the product tuning experience.

Responsibilities
Develop novel algorithms to improve auto white balance and color.
Design AI/Machine learning algorithms such as scene detection to improve camera image quality.
Develop machine learning based auto-tuning system for ISP and auto white balance/color.
Participate in Google Pixel camera auto white balance/color tuning and image quality evaluation.
Collaborate with software teams and hardware teams inside and outside the Product Area.
