Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a loyal consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.
As a Product Marketing Manager, you're a storyteller, crafting compelling and visionary narratives about our products, services and solutions and taking them to market to our Financial Services clients in creative ways. You will work with Product Managers, Solution Architects, Sales teams and external partners to build innovative Cloud solutions for the Financial Services space, with a focus on the top of the funnel.
You live in the intersection of Cloud Computing, Financial Services and Marketing, with a particular emphasis on utilizing the best of all Google products to help our Financial Services client succeed in a quickly changing Financial Services landscape. You understand how the industry is changing and how Cloud can help companies succeed, by going deep enough on a technical level to impress CTOs while keeping it simple enough to explain to a non-technical audience.
You will own the content strategy for Financial Services, and responsible for executing it. You will need to cut across all industry segments, personas and solutions to create compelling narratives and novel formats. Then, you will deliver that content directly to customers in intimate settings, trade shows, and other venues.

Develop and execute content strategy, considering sales needs, solution development roadmaps and maturity, audience goals and other factors. Build world-class, inspiring technology showcase assets that inspires customers and drive awareness of Google Cloud Platform in the market and engage with key influencers.
Deliver presentations at executive briefings, trade shows, internal and external events and other venues.
Drive market research programs and leverage existing research to create novel insights and address challenges into the Financial Services industry.
Partner with Google Cloud Marketing teams to ensure coordination and alignment with overall Marketing programs, goals and direction.
Work with external technology and system integrator partners to develop co-marketing collateral and plans for Financial Services solutions.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in technology or software marketing.
4 years of experience at a Financial Services company in a technical capacity.
Experience with presenting and delivering strategic and technical pitches, as well as building sales collateral, creative assets and other marketing content.
Experience in developing primary research and leveraging secondary research to create novel perspectives.
Experience with planning and executing multiple, complex marketing programs including budget management.
Successful track record of working collaboratively across Product, Engineering, Sales and Partner teams to create novel Go-to-Market programs in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability as a product or technology advocate.
Outstanding written and oral communication skills and strong organizational skills.
