The Staffing Supervisor drives sales growth through supporting all tasks related to recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training and engaging the talent in the store.

POSITION TITLE: Staffing Supervisor
REPORTS TO: Store Management Team
STATUS: Part Time/Full Time
SUPERVISES: Store Associates

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Directly responsible for all administrative tasks associated with the effective use of Kronos and NEST setting the foundation for Right People, Right Place, Right Time.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational Execution
Supports the Store Leadership Team in coordinating and leading all staffing functions including sourcing candidates, application review and employment verification, coordinating the interview process and completing new hire paperwork in NEST.
Schedules associate onboarding activities and follows-up to see that they are complete (Pre-Onboarding Tasks).
Completes/Organizes and audits all employee files ensuring all necessary new hire paperwork is complete and accounted for.
Ensures flawless execution and administration of final pay and termination with reference to state-specific policy for all terminated associates.
Supports Sales Leadership Team scheduling monthly performance reviews and tracking completion compliance.
Supports the Store Manager by managing all Kronos functions ensuring productive weekly schedules to support and help drive the business.
Manages all associate engagement and communication materials including store manuals, bulletin boards, and break rooms.
Executes all daily and weekly operational procedures including supply orders and bag inventories.
Supports the management team ensuring the store audit compliance and shrink results meet company loss prevention standards.
Understand and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Lead and participate in productive weekly leadership meetings that align with and drive the business strategy.
Proactively seek personal learning and development opportunities to elevate leadership skillset and individual performance.
Comply with all AEO Inc. Loss Prevention standards and provide a safe environment for associates and customers.
Drive for Results
Analyze reporting and daily sales trends to make real-time strategic business decisions to drive results.
Partner with the Store Management team in the execution of the store business plan to drive KPI results and maximizes business opportunities.
Establish and assign individual goals to sales and stock associates; monitor performance and provide real-time coaching to support them in achieving the assigned goals.
Drive AE brand loyalty by ensuring associates are knowledgeable of all AEO loyalty programs and holding them accountable for consistently informing customers of each program.
Lead the use of technology to enhance customer engagement and drive KPI results (BOSS, Store to Door, Social Media).
Evaluate store sales and payroll goals on a daily basis using payroll reports and tools; make scheduling adjustments to meet business needs.
Builds customer loyalty through in-store experience, utilization of social media and email capture.
Support the Store Manager in the execution of the short and long term store business plans to drives KPI results and maximizes business opportunities to include CRM, Loyalty and technology.
Effective use of technology to enhance customer engagement and drive KPI results (BOSS, Store to Door, Social Media).
Contribute to the achievement of all store financial, revenue and expense targets.
Builds customer loyalty through in-store experience, utilization of social media and email capture.

AUTHORITY:In the absence of a member of management is authorized to:
Complete cash refunds for returned merchandise
Complete employee purchase transactions
Complete cash pay-outs for store purchases and services (up to $50.00)
Receive merchandise shipment
Complete morning bank deposits

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum High School education or equivalent.
Minimum 1 – 2 year retail experience or equivalent education.
Team leader experience preferred.
Must have flexible availability for store needs.
Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate.
Demonstrated business acumen.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with customers and store team.
Demonstrated collaborate skills and ability to work well within a team.
Ability to handle multiple tasks while working in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
Ability to perform all Essential Job Functions
