Full Time Days
You Will Be Responsible For:
Develop mechanisms to efficiently manage the OPPE / FPPE program, including development of strong purposeful quality indicators, workflows, procedures, and compliance expectations consistent with regulatory requirements and Florida Hospital Ocala Medical Staff Bylaws.
Liaison with Medical Staff Departments for development, coordination and integration of metrics
Develop process when performance issues are found, involving other clinicians as necessary for effective clinical review.
Provides development, planning, facilitation and completion of training and education for performance improvement methodologies.
Follow-up with non-compliant departments.

Strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills.
Ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work with data that is of sensitive and confidential nature.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
Ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff, physicians, patients, families, and visitors.
Skilled in computer programs such as Excel, Power Point, Word, and Access or similar Database.
Strong knowledge of statistical methods and software such as Sigma XL, Minitab, etc.
Associate Degree in Nursing AND/OR other Bachelor’s Degree in health care related field
Minimum five (5) years of health care experience
Minimum three (3) years of Quality or Risk Management experience and/or equivalent education/training
Under the direction of Facility Wide Peer Review Manager, the OPPE / FPPE Coordinator will govern an effective Medical Staff OPPE / FPPE program consistent with hospital medical staff Bylaws and all appropriate regulatory bodies.
