The Automotive Consultant is responsible for driving dealership profit through new and pre owned car sales while maintaining client satisfaction, professionalism, a great attitude, willingness to learn and pursuit of a lifelong career.

Key Responsibilities
Meets dealership sales goals
Maintains CSI at or above company standards
Greets customer and determines make, type, and quality of vehicle desired
Explains features and demonstrates operation of vehicle in showroom or on road
Suggests optional equipment for customer to purchase
Computes and quotes sales price, including tax, trade-in allowance, and discount
Completes paperwork accompanying vehicle sales, including but not limited to, preparing sales slip or sales contract
Arranges for delivery and registration of vehicle
Researches availability of models and optional equipment
Engages in business development
Addresses customer concerns
Follows Safeguards rules and regulations

This 3 day training university for automotive sales is the foundation for any new entry level, experienced or management level sales person who wants to learn from the best in the industry to build a successful career in the automotive industry.

When completed each Hendrick University Certified Sales Person will:
  • Know and understand each of the 8 Steps and how to communicate with managers at dealership
  • Be able to successfully do a product presentation
  • Effectively establish customer rapport immediately with the “Hendrick Welcome”
  • Know how to document and log all car deal efforts and communications in eLEAD
  • Be able to do car deal from start to finish
  • Have the confidence and tools to begin building or enhance their business at their dealership
