Job Description

PRIMARY ROLE or FUNCTION:
The Tax Analyst will be responsible for preparing work papers and tax analyses to support
income tax returns and income tax accounting calculations for the company. This includes, but
is not limited to the computation and recording of current and deferred taxes, analyzing and
documenting uncertain tax positions, preparing tax forecasts, technical tax research and the
preparation of tax returns.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparation of calculations necessary to support federal, state and local tax return filings and estimated tax payment calculations
Preparation of quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations, and all related disclosure items
Assistance with tax audits and inquiries at the federal, state and local levels
Preparation of income tax projections
Research and document technical tax and tax accounting issues

ESSENTIAL JOB KNOWLEDGE and COMPETENCIES:
BSBA in Accounting or Finance
0 to 2 years year of relevant tax experience
Prior Big 4 or regional public accounting experience a plus
Knowledge of federal, and state and local tax laws
Understanding of FAS 109 (ASC 740) principals
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS and AFFILIATIONS:
Certified Public Accountant and/or Masters in Taxation preferred
