What will your role be?
You will be a solution consultant at an aerospace company that is a customer of Dassault Systèmes. Your focus will be on providing technical services using our software products. Depending on your level of expertise and experience, the responsibilities and duties may include:
Helping users to solve technical problems.
Training and mentoring users on best practices for product usage.
Evaluating performance of products, and if necessary, documenting errors and enhancements.
Identifying workflows that can benefit from our products.
Conducting seminars or workshops that includes demonstrations of solutions or proofs of concepts.
Developing simulation methodologies, and when required, writing software to help with users productivity.
Traveling as necessary.

Learning and applying new technologies, product features, and industry workflows on a continual basis.
Communicating clearly, concisely and completely in sharing knowledge with others who may have varying levels of technical understanding.
Your key success factors
Ph.D. degree in an engineering discipline related to computational structural mechanics and some industry experience with aerospace structures. (M.S. degree with a minimum of 3 years of aerospace engineering experience will also be considered.)
Experience performing implicit or explicit FEA simulations using commercial software such as Abaqus, Ansys, Dyna, Marc, or Nastran.
Experience working with simulation workflows in one or more of the following domains: External Flight Loads Generation, Flutter/Aeroelasticity Analysis, Internal Flight Loads, Additive Manufacturing, Composites Damage, Durability, Noise and Vibration, and Crash.
Experience with a programming language such as Fortran, C, C++, Python, or VBScript.
Experience using other simulation software such as Isight, Tosca, fe-safe, Simpack, Xflow, or PowerFLOW.
Experience using commercial CAD software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo, Pro/E, or NX.
Experience using Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software such as ENOVIA.
Goal driven and diligent, with the ability to work effectively and efficiently under deadlines and customer requirements.
Desire for a career in the field of physics-based simulation.
Passion for learning and applying simulation technologies.
Aspiration for teaching and helping others to solve difficult technical problems.
