NFI Massachusetts, Inc. is a nonprofit human services agency offering a full range of supportive programming to adults, children and families. Currently we are seeking a senior level human service Director of Intensive Services to provide programmatic, administrative and fiscal oversight to our Intensive Residential Treatment Programs (IRTP).

Located at the Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital, the two fifteen bed IRTPs are state-wide residential programs accredited by The Joint Commission. The population consists of adolescents who have a serious mental illness and/or severe emotional and/or behavioral disturbances. The programs provide vigorous treatment in a locked setting for youth who are unable to be safely treated in a less restrictive setting. The multi-disciplinary staff includes psychiatry, nursing, clinical social workers, occupational therapy, family partners, peer mentors, management, supervisors, direct care staff, housekeeping and dietary staff.

The successful candidate will:
Supervise senior program leadership and insure programs are aligned with agency values and objectives.
Possess an advanced degree (licensed clinician or nursing background preferred) and have at least five years of experience managing within an inpatient, sub-acute care or campus setting.
Demonstrate solid understanding of transitional and after care services, reunification, and permanency. Intimate familiarity with Joint Commission and Department of Mental Health requirements is essential; grounding in trauma informed, youth and family focused care is expected.
Successfully participate in Joint Commission surveys.
Solid understanding of implementation of Building Bridges Initiative.
On-call support and unannounced after hours visits are also required.
