High School Diploma or USA equivalency
Knowledgeable of Dallas ISD schools, communities, and systems
Local knowledge of Dallas ISD enrollment process
Computerized record keeping experience, preferably as a secondary school data person
Ability to work with a minimum supervision and direction
Task oriented self-starter with the ability to perform and enter data with a high degree of accuracy
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills required to achieve the goals of the position
Assists with registration, enrollment and transfer of students and process applicable records; enters all student data into the district student information system
Participates in student recruitment activities, calling parents of potential new students for registration and to fill vacant school choice seats throughout the school year
Verifies the accuracy and completion of all student registration information
Communicates with the IT Program Management Office to identify and correct missing or incorrect student information
Identifies data anomalies that may identify data errors or incorrect coding of students
Oversees and ensures all students new to the district have complete cum records, including obtaining transcripts and other records
Serves as the official record keeper for the Welcome Center
Request, send and maintain student cumulative records using TREx
Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned
Salary Minimum: $37,004
Selected individuals for Dallas Independent School District positions will be placed according to compensation guidelines. A campus-based employee may not assume a new position for which he/she was selected based upon the posting process until the end of the current semester, unless approved by the chief officer – Human Capital Management.
