Managing Director – Sales, Marketing, Business Development

Primary Role

The role of Managing Director is a unique blend of strategic, operational and sales responsibilities and will work directly with our head office in Switzerland. The position holder will play an important part in the internationalization of commercial business, and will be a significant player in the development of the regional/continental branch, including the development of plans to further expand the business. As a key driver of the business in a co-founding position the person might be granted share options of the organization. Strategically the position holder will interface with corporate functions to support a smooth effective implementation of the campaigns in the respective countries.


  • Work closely with head office in Switzerland to identify and drive projects and initiatives which create geographic growth and capitalize on market dynamics / differences
  • Actively engage in territory planning, relationship development and opportunity development and driving revenue by closing sales opportunities
  • Eventually build up a team to drive rapid new business sales growth within a defined territory.
  • Build and drive sales strategy for the territory in conjunction with sales operations to effectively Go-To-Market including understanding the competitive landscape, presence and strength within the territory
  • Manage and report accurate forecast and pipeline to the business
  • Work collaboratively across the region to ensure that initiatives, projects and best practice thinking are maximized.
  • Achievement of annual sales goals on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Act as an Expert in C level meetings in order to leverage our offering
  • Build effective working relationships with our project management, technical support, sales operations and our free flight fulfillment agency.


  • Extensive track record of new business sales & marketing success including presentation and negotiation skills within the industry and at C Level within the respective market and industry.
  • Leveraging on professional experience and network in the marketing industry, retail market and distribution channels.
  • Fluency in English is a must, further language skills are of advantage
  • Strong strategic thinking including analytical and financial planning skills to meet and exceed quotas and goals.
  • Experienced in driving sales process and drive effective working relationships
  • Ability to understand the 'bigger picture' and business drivers around marketing and incentive campaigns
  • Ability to build long term strategic and senior level relationships
  • Ability to adapt and work effectively within a rapidly changing and growing environment
  • Strong business and financial acumen
