Daily Responsibilities:
  • Serve as contributing engineer of the customer's Identity and Access Management technical transformation
Desired Skills:
  • Experience deploying/managing Identity platforms, including ForgeRock, Oracle, Microsoft, or similar
  • Experience deploying/managing Windows and Linux Server and hardening baselines
  • Experience deploying/managing solutions on cloud service providers, or customer on-prem such as VMware
  • Experience deploying/managing directory services, such as Oracle, OpenLDAP, Active Directory
  • Experience deploying/managing web servers (e.g. IIS, Apache) and application servers (e.g. WebLogic, Tomcat)
  • Experience deploying/managing monitoring and alerting systems for enterprise services
  • Experience with real backup and recovery strategies for both hosts and applications
  • Experience locking down Internet facing application servers and interfaces
  • Ability to script automated solutions and configuration management utilities to deploy, manage and maintain the systems; e.g. scripting with Bash, Perl, Python, PowerShell, etc.; leveraging the likes of Puppet, Chef, Ansible
Familiarity with the following technologies and capabilities is a plus:

  • Identity & Access Management Technologies
  • Agile Development methodologies
  • Identity Governance Processes
  • LDAP Directory and Virtual Directory solutions
  • Token Technologies, such as: SAML, OpenID Connect, JSON Web Tokens
  • Public Key Infrastructure policy, practices, and/or implementation
  • Unit, Integration, and Performance testing
  • High Availability system design and deployment
What you should have before applying:
  • 2+ years of combined IT, Security and/or IdAM work experience, with a desired, but not required, broad exposure to infrastructure/network and multiplatform environments
  • A proven track record of strong troubleshooting skill and experience
  • A mindset to solve hard problems in a creative way
  • A love for a challenge and a drive to always find a better solution

The position is based primarily at our office in Sterling, VA.
