This entry-level, part-time position offers a fantastic opportunity to dive into social media management, create hilarious and engaging content, and work closely with our Community and Social Media Manager. There is also potential for a full-time position for motivated and capable candidates.
About Us: Grow Strong Industries (GSI) is a leading-edge hydroponics manufacturer. We are growing within the rapidly expanding worldwide Cannabis industry. We are building a Rockstar marketing team to help us aggressively grow with our customers and ambassadors.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies and campaigns to build brand awareness.
- Manage and grow new and existing social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and others.
- Create engaging written and visual content for multiple platforms, websites, and social networks.
- Monitor and participate in online discussions regarding our family of brands.
- Support the Community and Social Media Manager in responding to incoming messages and engaging with followers.
- Research new media platforms, trends, and industry opportunities.
- Provide feedback from social media trends and research to business strategists.
Requirements:
- Passion for social media and a good understanding of various social media platforms.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Creative, inquisitive, and analytical mindset.
- Detail-oriented, hard-working, and a self-starter who thrives on collaboration.
