Vacation Newport is seeking a Guest Services Representative. In this role the Guest Services Representative will be responsible for making reservations, greeting, and assisting all guests.
Position Qualifications:
- Hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Must have a positive, can-do attitude, must be energetic and flexible
- Problem resolution skills
- Must be a team player
- Proficiency in Microsoft office, property management software a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work weekends, some holidays and on call
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with a team to provide excellent customer service to all guests
- Be knowledgeable of the property(ies) and answer all guest questions
- Coordinate with the sales and reservation teams in regards to bookings and inquiries
- Anticipate guest needs, resolve any guest requests or issues
- Concierge duties, must be knowledgeable of the area and activities for guests
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 2 years’ experience in customer service, reservations, or sales
- Background check and pre-employment drug test required
