*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated p/t Physical Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for physical education and promoting a healthy lifestyle among students. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment where creativity and innovation are encouraged. Candidates must be available school day hours on Monday and Wednesday and be able to commute to Dover, NH.
*Duties*
- Develop and implement engaging physical education lesson plans
- Instruct students on various physical activities and sports
- Incorporate Montessori principles into physical education curriculum
- Provide individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education with other subjects such as trigonometry, library services, and creative writing
- Contribute to curriculum development and enhancement of the physical education program
- Support students in achieving their fitness goals and overall well-being
- Utilize public speaking skills to motivate and inspire students
*Experience*
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field
- Strong knowledge of various sports, fitness activities, and health concepts
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proven ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 11 – 13 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- No weekends
