Bid Desk Specialist
Role & Responsibilities:
Process new bid request
- Received by Sales / End User / Reseller / Distributor
- Validate End User (Google lookup company name)
- Confirm no deal reg exists
- Confirm no duplication
- Confirm model (EOL)
- Make warranty suggestions
- Confirm Competitor information
Maintain GSA and State Contract Pricing
- Quarterly or Monthly as necessary
- Work with PM to confirm contracted pricing
- Send updated bids to all Disty / Reseller
Maintain all hunting bids, run rate bids, up front pricing promo, LTI Bids
- Hunting bids allow reseller blanket pricing
Refresh bid pricing when model standard pricing changes
Maintain list of all NFR (Not For Resale) requests
- NFR Pro AV resellers can purchase limited quantity at reduced price for internal use
Accurate distribution of bids to all interested parties
Fully understand workings of B2B GERP system and make process improvement recommendations to Bid Desk Lead
Follow up on expired quotations
Coach internal and external customers on Bid Process and requirements
BA/BS +2 years of analytical skills,
Financial or previous sales support experience,
Understanding of pricing and promotions highly desirable
