The Systems Analyst II role must demonstrate the ability to work independently or within a team. Additionally, must demonstrate strong skills in oral and written communication with customers, internal or external team members. They must also possess the ability to successfully work with concurrent deadlines and multiple priorities.
The Systems Analyst II role requires specialized experience in providing support for business software solutions or IT systems and experience working directly with customers to analyze and resolve issues.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Providing user support for both technical and functional issues as it relates to the SPS Suite of Software
Effectively leveraging all resources to research customer issues
Ability to discern when to escalate customer issues
Acting in a support role to senior team members in order to research and resolve complex customer issues
Analyzing customer-hosted systems which contain relational databases
Creating detailed SQL database scripts to retrieve data, conduct an analysis of the customer data, and prepare a manipulative SQL database script to correct the offending data
Analyzing hosted systems acting as intermediate translational systems which process inbound and outbound data
Reviewing hosted system log files, XML structured file analysis
Supporting on site deployment activities performing service release upgrades, migration and custom on-site support
Education and Experience:
Typically Requires Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and two to four years of related experience
Preferred qualifications also include either education in foundation-level knowledge in software programming languages and Structured Query Language (SQL) and related technology.
