Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pediatrician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, focusing on preventive care, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and promoting overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine check-ups on young patients to assess their health and development
- Diagnose and treat various acute and chronic illnesses specific to children
- Administer vaccinations according to the immunization schedule
- Provide guidance on nutrition, safety, and disease prevention to parents
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for pediatric patients
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient visits
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Board certification in Pediatrics
- State medical license and DEA registration
- Strong knowledge and experience in pediatric care including labor delivery, endocrinology, Ob/Gyn, medication administration, triage, airway management, family planning, hospital medicine, medical coding
- Excellent communication skills with patients and their families
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Experience administering injections is preferred
