The Senior Director, Strategic Partnerships will lead new and existing earn, redeem, and member benefits partnerships, as well as marketing sponsorships for the company’s award-winning Wyndham Rewards® loyalty program. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for new partner development, current partner management, P&L management, and people leadership to better serve the needs of our 97+ million members. The candidate will build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, manage partnership marketing, and prioritize the biggest opportunities for new and existing partnerships. The candidate will be part of a dynamic Partnerships team with exposure to the broader Loyalty and Marketing organizations.

Drive development for new partners, including opportunity assessment, contract negotiations, implementation, and go-to-market strategy.

Manage senior relationships with partners and lead team of partnership marketers.

Develop partner strategy, prioritize internal and external requests, and deliver regular business reviews.

Lead cross-functional teams to deliver partner-specific and portfolio-wide initiatives and special projects.

Partner with VP leader and Finance/Analytics teams to manage P&L and understand key metrics and drivers.

Partnership development/relationship management, experience handling multiple high-touch relationships at one time.

Experience in and passion for loyalty marketing, travel, and partnerships.

Ability to succeed in an environment of significant decision-making and autonomy.

Data-driven marketing leader, who can leverage analytics to create high-impact strategies.

Project management expertise with the ability to develop, articulate and operationalize new ideas.

Bachelor’s degree required

7+ years of progressive work-related experience in partnerships, marketing, or loyalty.

Prior partner development and people leadership experience.

Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and using data to drive decision-making.
