Network/Hardware Support Technician - TS-SCI CLEARANCE REQUIRED!!!!! Located at Lackland.

Job Summary: Monitors and responds to hardware, software, and network problems and maintain security baseline based on current RMF practices

Duties:
System and Network administration of multiple networks consisting of various workstations, servers, storage devices and switches.
Manage user and group accounts, perform backup and recovery procedures and updates and change group policies as needed.
Create and manage virtual machines in a development and production environment.
Perform hardware updates and refreshes according to lifecycle, repair and evolving needs of development environment.
Perform software updates and downloads for use in the development environment to account for the changing needs of the development environment.
Assist in migration of all network services to private cloud environment, as well as facilitate the migration of many other pieces of software to open source.
Maintain Information Systems per DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and provides direct support for information systems.
Ensure the facility is in compliance with requirements for classified information system processing
Assess and mitigate system security threats and risks, implement security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures
Maintain knowledge of applicable policies, regulations, and compliance documents related to classified computing assets and environments

Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI government clearance, or be adjudicated TS/SCI eligible upon query in JPAS
Must possess a current CCNA-Security, GSEC or Security+ CE certification (DoD 8570-01 M IAT Level II)
