Pan-Pacific Supply Company is a leading Northern California provider of pumps, seals and other related mechanical products and services. Since 1957, we have been a family-owned and operating business providing integrated, innovative solutions that help our customers keep their operations running efficiently and safely.
We are looking for a full-time outside salesperson to help grow our sales and presence in the Central Valley serving customers in the Food/Beverage, manufacturing, and municipal water/wastewater treatment markets. The San Joaquin Valley has enormous potential with over 40 current, active accounts and a clear path to double this business in the coming 3 years. In this role you will be accountable for growing sales, expanding our customer base, flawlessly executing our sales process, and delivering outstanding customer support.
Areas of Accountability:
· Grow our share of wallet at our existing accounts by introducing and selling more of our product portfolio.
· Perform business development to grow our market share in the region by expanding our number of active accounts.
· Be the point person for all customer interactions including project and sales process execution.

· High mechanical aptitude is essential.

· Track record of learning your customer’s business and needs, then translating that knowledge into creative solutions that lead to sales.
· Problem solver that is comfortable and confident advising customers.
· Understanding of how to grow a territory.
Education/Experience Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate Degree or higher (preferred) in an engineering or technical discipline.
· 5 years (minimum) of product or service sales in an industrial market
· Experience in selling pumps and seal technology preferred (not required)
· History of learning new skills, technologies, and industries.
Compensation and Benefits:
· Base Pay: $60,000 - $90,000 (based work experience and)
· Commission: Quarterly bonus is based individual meeting quarterly gross profit target; Year-end bonus based on individual meeting annual gross profit target

The ideal person for this role currently lives south of Stockton, CA, is comfortable working alone remotely, but willing to travel to the company headquarters for training, meetings, and other critical activities.
All new employees are subject to a probationary period of 90 days.
