Job Summary

Provide leadership for Undergraduate Recruitment Teams. Support overall day-to-day planning and operations for the Office of University Recruitment. Recruit students.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide leadership and manage professional staff members for undergraduate recruitment teams: Freshman, Transfer, Bound for Success, and the Dallas office so that UTA reaches its enrollment goals. Provide Admission Counselors with training on the programs and tools they have at their disposal to recruit students. Direct Admission Counselors with the development and implementation of recruitment strategies. Work with Systems Analyst to develop queries for each campus event and reports that will better help Admission Counselors recruit students. Build relationships with outside partners, recruiting staff in other UTA departments, all student service officers, and MyMav governance groups. Develop strategic enrollment goals and action plans for undergraduate student enrollment. Performs other duties assigned.

Required Qualifications

A MASTER’S DEGREE IN MARKETING , PSYCHOLOGY , COMMUNICATIONS , ECONOMICS , EDUCATION OR RELATED FIELD AND 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH STUDENTS IN AN ACADEMIC SETTING WITH A BROAD KNOWLEDGE OF ADMISSIONS , RECRUITMENT , COMMUNICATIONS AND UNIVERSITY POLICIES AND /OR PROCESSES INCLUDING WRITING , DESIGNING AND MANAGING MARKETING / COMMUNICATION PROJECTS . 2-3 YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE .

Preferred Qualifications

A MASTER’S DEGREE AND 7-10 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN ADMISSIONS , ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT , ACADEMIC AFFAIRS OR STUDENT AFFAIRS . EXPERIENCE WITH THE RECRUITMENT OF STUDENTS FROM DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS , INCLUDING HIGH PERFORMING STUDENTS . 3-5 YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE .
