Job Description HHCJ is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide in home care to home health and hospice patients. HHCJ nursing positions require the ability to work independently. The flexible schedule includes on-call duty. RN duties include establishing and overseeing a coordinated plan of in-home care, evaluation and assessment of patient status, education for administration of prescribed medication, consultation with the attending physician, and educating patients in activities of daily living to facilitate the patient’s self-sufficiency.
Qualifications Appropriate degree and State of Alaska licensure required for this position. Experience in home health and/or hospice preferred. Must possess a valid Alaska driver’s license and a vehicle.
Compensation and Benefits This position is full-time, 37.5 hours/week. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and life insurance, a 403(b) Thrift Savings Plan, paid time off and 12 paid holidays annually. Training opportunities available for career advancement. Annual salary noted is a base salary and does not include on-call compensation. All Case Managers will be required to provide on-call coverage 1-2 nights per week and one weekend per month.
