Job Summary:
The Global AI Initiative Chief of Staff is responsible for overseeing and driving multiple projects and initiatives set by EY’s Global AI Leader. Key responsibility will be to establish reporting to track status of AI projects, product roll outs, and to engage with stakeholders throughout EY globally. Supports the establishment and ongoing execution and monitoring of AI incubation, prototyping, and evangelism model. Collaborates with other firm functions to provide support to the AI initiative.

Essential Functions of the Job:
Develop, implement and perform reporting and analysis on AI initiatives and progress against milestones. Other areas may require reporting and analysis as deemed necessary. Report on status and analysis of probability of achieving goals.

Stand up and keep track of key initiatives and special projects such as training programs and internal partnership programs.

Track commitments to the business made by the Global AI team leaders and facilitate an accountability framework within the leadership team to ensure consist delivery on those commitments.

Liaise with stakeholders throughout EY to ensure appropriate understanding, communication, and documentation of requirements and deliverables.

Understand firm processes that impact the team’s operations and assist in implementing them.

Support the AI Leader on ad hoc business issues including the organization of leadership meetings, taking minutes in meetings, organizing events, creating management presentations etc.

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:
This position must be able to provide meaningful analysis, draw conclusions from the results and make the appropriate recommendations to AI team leadership and, as appropriate, internal clients.

Ability to quickly grasp complex business problems, develop a logical/rational framework for investigating the problem, identify key assumptions and propose and test hypotheses, and develop creative solutions to such problems that leverage quantitative/analytical methods.

Ability to develop efficient and effective operational processes for the AI team

Creation and ongoing generating of required reporting, metrics and monitoring

Ability to establish relationships and collaborate to gather information from appropriate sources and perform analysis of different alternatives/scenarios in order to contribute to key decision-making

Ability to get commitments and holding people accountable against those commitments at all levels including senior PPEDD’s.

Supervision Responsibilities:
Directly supports the Global AI Leader who provides guidance, supervision and review of Chief of Staff activities. Chief of Staff should be able to work relatively independently after receiving initial guidance and direction and apply critical thinking in analysis and provide opinions and recommendations. Ultimate decisions are made by Global AI Leader.

Other Requirements:
Some overtime may be required to meet deadlines. Given interactions with Global resources, may need to work/conduct calls/meetings at non-standard hours. Some travel required.

Job Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree

Experience:
Approximately 5+ years of experience

Demonstrated experience in reporting and analysis

Project and product management experience preferred
